Sports Grant

The sports grant is used to enhance pupils sporting and out door opportunities across the school.

Pupils get the opportunity to experience and take part in activities that may not be normally available

Pupils motor coordination skills are supported and improved

New Key Stage 1 Outdoor Learning Area £8000 to ensure access to active learning whatever the weather.

Scooter and bike shelter for pupils £4500 to encourage children to be active on the way to school.

The grant has supported our Y5/6 pupils to access the outdoor activities at Fairthorne Manor during the summer term. There was also opportunities to try golf, skiing, gymnastics and sessions at local soft play centres. This has helped our pupils to try new activities in a safe environment and broaden their repertoire of experiences.

Over the summer holidays, our holiday club kept our pupils moving, with visits to the Portsmouth Gym Club, swimming and our local soft play centre.

Below you will find the financial information regarding how we have spent this grant during the 2021/2022 school year.
