Dear Parents/carers

On Thursday 5^th March we will be celebrating World Book Day in school. As this is a national event, the children will receive a book token to spend.

During the day, the children will be celebrating in class with lots of fun activities that have been based around a favourite class story. As part of these activities, each child will be making a costume and/or accessories for a character from the class story.

Please note, our pupils will not be dressing up. I understand that many of our children will have siblings dressing up as book characters and whilst this is quite traditional, many of our children find this challenging owing to their individual needs.

In order to be inclusive, all pupils will take part in making and wearing costumes in class. Please send your child to school in school uniform on the day.
