This weeks update - 25th January 2021
Dear Parents and Carers
I hope you are all well.
This week the staff have voluntarily started a twice weekly testing programme for COVID19. We hope that this will pick up any staff who are carrying the virus but are not showing any symptoms (asymptomatic). If a staff member tests positive using their home test, then they have to go and have a full test at the local testing centre. While we await the outcome of this test, a bubble will need to be shut until the result is available. If confirmed, then the bubble will need to isolate for 10 days. If the test comes back negative, then everyone will be able to return to school. We really hope that this will ensure that the virus does not spread into our local community.
Thank you to everyone who is logging on to Seesaw and helping their children with home learning. We distributed a number of devices to children last week to help them log on more successfully. If you would like any help or support, please contact Mrs Wright via the school office.
We will continue with our normal cycle of meetings, so please make sure you respond to invitations for annual reviews and class zoom meetings.
Please ensure you regularly check the website and your T2P app for school updates.
