Christmas Update
Dear Parents and Carers
As we approach the end of term and the holiday season, I am aware of the heightened financial pressures that many of you are facing at the moment.
As such, I want to emphasise that our staff are not expecting any ‘thank you’ gifts from pupils and parents and I would like to request that you prioritise your own family before giving presents to staff.
Should you still wish to give something, we welcome:
- A homemade card or letter – kind words mean a lot!
- Some chocolates, sweets or cakes that can be shared in the staffroom (please remember we are a nut free school).
The best gift for us is seeing your child in school, being part of the Riverside School family.
Please remember that we are able to order food parcels for our families – please contact Gill: gill.stoll@riverside.hants.sch.uk or phone our Admin Office.
We are having a Christmas Jumper day on 13th December. If you cannot afford the donation, please still send your child in something Christmassy – a head band, bobble hat, dress or their favourite outfit. The most important part is taking part – and that can be different for each of our pupils.
We are looking forwards to seeing you at our class events next week.
